After touring with Chris Brown, Wizkid has returned to working on due projects.
The singer arrived the United States yesterday evening. Shortly after he linked up with rapper Tinie Tempah for a video shoot of what appears to be a joint collaboration.
Wizkid and Tinie also had something going when he was in Nigeria recently.

Wizkid has announced that he would release a new single titled Shaba – featuring Chris Brownand Trey Songz, later today.
The Nigerian pop-artiste revealed this on his Instagram page a few minutes ago.

A police SWAT team has descended on Chris Brown’s Los Angeles mansion, following allegations that a woman was threatened at the property with a gun.
A team of officers are currently outside the sprawling home, where they have been seen putting up police tape as they attempt to investigate the alleged incident.
According to TMZ,cops raced to Chris’ home early Tuesday morning after a woman called 911 and claimed he pulled a gun on her. They are in the process of getting a search warrant. Chris has not left the house, but multiple sources say he was defiant as he threw the duffel bag out the window, taunting cops and saying, “Come and get me.”
The singer is inside the LA home and has posted a string of videos to Instagram, venting his frustration over the situation.

Singer Chris Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a guest at his Los Angeles residence, Baylee Curran, called for help from the police around 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning. According to Curran, he pointed a gun at her face after he became angry when she complimented another man’s diamond necklace. A search warrant was obtained by the police and after a nearly 14-hour standoff, he was taken into custody.
Chris has however been released on $250,000 bail. His lawyer Mark Garagos is insisting that the allegations made against the singer are false. More interestingly, the woman claiming Chris pulled a gun on her is wanted in New York for questioning in connection with criminal theft.

Yesterday Chris was involved in an eleven hour stand-off with police at his lavish $4.3million mansion in the upscale residential area following reports he threatened a woman with a gun.
A neighbor ,Rodu Akbarian claimed, the latest incident just one in a long run of disruptive incidents caused by the singer and his entourage.
Speaking to RadarOnline , he said
“I think he’s a piece of s***.”He’s rude, first of all.“I’ll come walking out with my friends at 12 o’clock. I get home at 12 o’clock from work. He’ll be out here with his stupid little friends and their stupid little cars, revving their engines.
“Like dude, people are trying to sleep! This is a residential area! You wanna rev your cars? Go to a f******* racetrack like normal people do.”
Referring to yesterday’s drama he said:
“It’s like the third or fourth time cops are out here.“He doesn’t care.”
Akbarian said that while he’d “never” seen Chris with a gun, he “didn’t doubt” the charges brought against him.

Following his arrest last week for gun assault charges, Chris Brown has banned guests from his mansion.There is also a strict no alcohol an drugs policy .
This comes after the 27-year-old singer has maintained his innocence after being accused of pulling a gun on former beauty queen Baylee Curan during a row at his home.
According to TMZ, the star will now enforce a strict guest policy at the Calabasas property with no “randoms” allowed – while his best friends and roommates will have to submit a list for approval.
As well as the written notice of potential guests – which will reportedly include descriptions so he can make an informed decision – those who pass the test are said to be banned from bringing in their own drugs or alcohol.
It was alleged text messages from this acusers phone showed she promised to set him up for throwing her out of his house.One allegedly read
“This freak Chris Brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friends jewelry fake. I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I’m going to set his ass up.”
Speaking to ABC News, Chris said:
“I cannot wait till the truth comes to light about this incident and this situation.
“You know, because my character’s been defaced and who I am as a person and [my] integrity. I’m glad all my real supporters know me, and know the truth and see the truth.”

Chris Brown and Wizkid yesterday (8th October) performed in Kenya at the Mombasa Rocks Music Festival held at Mombasa Golf Club, Mama Ngina Drive, Mombasa.
They both put up a great performance that excited the fans at the show. The performances at the event was worthy the wait!
However, the very high tickets costs; KEX 10,000( USD 100) for ordinary tickets and KEX 20,000 (USD 200) for VIP tickets meant that most fans that would probably attend this event never attended as they couldn’t afford the tickets.
While the organizers expected between 12,000 and 15,000 fans at the show, our Mombasa reporter at the concert noted they got less than 3000 fans altogether. Fans interviews blamed the poor and underwhelming turn up on the very high ticket costs.
African stars Alikiba (Tanzania) and Wizkid (Nigeria) last weekend (Saturday) had a supremacy, ego fueled disagreement during Chris Brown’s Mombasa Rocks Music Festival in Kenya.
According to reports, Alikiba & Wizkid were the remaining curtain raisers at the concert but none of them was willing to perform before the other.
As per the concert ads and announcements, Wizkid was the main curtain raiser and as such was expected to perform last before Chris Brown stepped on stage. This meant that all East African
Artistes including Alikiba had to perform before Wizkid.
However Alikiba and his team didn’t agree to this. Their reasoning was that while Wizkid was the bigger music brand across Africa, Alikiba was more popular in Kenya, particularly Mombasa thanks to his Swahili music.
The organizers found a hard time negotiating with these two stars, both nominated in MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA ) 2016.
Before this time, a few months ago, when Diamond Platnumz came to Kenya to perform at the ODM 10-year anniversary, he was made to perform before Ali kiba, his bitter rival.
When he realised that he had been duped to curtain raise for his rival, he reportedly threw a tantrum and refused to exit the stage. It took the intervention of the organisers to convince him to leave the stage.
Now, during the Brown’s concert the weekend past, organisers who were favouring Ali Kiba made sure that he would perform after Wiz Kid.
Kenyan media outfits report when Wizkid realized that he was being played to curtain raise for an artist who was beneath his level, he refused to perform.
Ali Kiba on the other hand, argued that he was bigger than Wiz Kid in Kenya and was therefore, bigger and better than Wiz Kid.
The back-and-forth spat affected the concert by delaying the two artists’ performances. Brown’s appearance had to be pushed to past 11pm.
After all had been said and done, Wizkid performed before Ali Kiba. Unfortunately, minutes into his second song, Kiba’s microphone got disconnected.
He had to leave the stage to make way for Brown’s 90-minute crowd smasher.
Later in the night after Brown had left the stage, the organisers brought Kiba back to the stage to finish his performance.
